About the Information Systems Department
The Information Systems Department provides technical support, application and data management, and network services for the school division. Our mandate is to provide services and support that directly meet the requirements defined through the Educational Technology supports. Our role is to build and support a stable and robust infrastructure to support learning initiatives within the division and the community. We strive to provide excellent service and a high quality infrastructure that grows with learning needs. We believe that the network should suit the customer, not the other way around. We provide an infrastructure that has a core service availability of 99% or better and constantly strive to improve availability and performance.
Services we provide include, network infrastructure services, data and information security services, as well as computer maintenance, upgrade and repairs. We have expertise in application development, and database administration, and provide recommendations on data management. In addition, we provide support for phone systems, and printing/imaging systems division wide.
